TRAINING WITH INJURIES
The last couple of months I’ve been dealing with some reoccurring shoulder injuries. Training wise this can be a bit of a pain (literally) but that’s when you need to adapt things.
Far to frequently I hear from people that they didn’t train because of an injury. In some cases this might be a valid excuse but for the most part that’s what it is, just an excuse! If you’ve an issue with your bicep, train legs. If you’ve an issue with shoulder maybe just do some cardio?
For me some movements feel fine, some aren’t so great. In my plan I was meant to do a reverse pec dec so I swapped it out for these rear delt cable fly. For whatever reason there isn’t as much pain and the job is done.
So have a think, what’s holding you back from reaching your goals? Is it an injury or is it your excuses?
