Since Jet lag has me up at 3am, I thought I'd share about one of our last adventures in Europe before coming home.
We woke up early to rainy skies ☔ in Innsbruck with a hope of shredding fresh powder 🎿 at Stubai glacier, which is a nearby Austrian ski resort that runs almost year round 🤯. When we got to the lift to rent skis and clothes (we were massively under prepared) we found the lifts had just been closed because of the snow storm at the top of the mountain.
Plan B looked like Google searches over breakfast and landing on something called "Aqua Dome", which looked like a star trek interpretation of a thermal spa.
It was... Fascinating. The facility included 12 pools including 3 elevated outdoor hot tubs ⤴, each with a different twist (salt water, natural hot spring water), a pretty legit workout facility, a nude sauna complex (nope 🙈), spa treatments 💆🏼♀️, gorgeous alp views with larch trees starting to turn gold, and a restaurant we weren't allowed to enter with shoes on, but could enter barefoot.
All in all, a nice, wierd time 😂
