So much gratitude for the island life 🌴
Thinking about building healthy habits and routines. I am currently reading The Compound Effect by @darrenjhardy; awareness is the first step, tracking is the next step. I’ve been tracking a few things daily like meditation, exercise, and spending and am starting to build these things into my daily routine without question or thought.
I was talking to a friend about this and she was telling me she spends too much time on social media. It starts when she wakes up in the morning. This causes stress because when we do this we start out our day by subjecting ourselves to other people and their energies. I told her to start tracking her use on social media using screen time and starting her day out with gratitude instead of Facebook. Do that for a month and track it and you won’t even have to think about it anymore. Not checking Facebook and replacing it with gratitude will be the new habit.
I encourage you to think of your habits good and bad and bring awareness to them and track one thing daily for a month that you think is either hindering you or helping you get to your goals.
Good Morning from Dubai✈️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So many memories flushing back as I entered the airport to catch my next flight. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
All the smells, music, people.
A place I called home for a long time and a place still very much close to my heart. Its beautiful how we make memories that will be treasured forever, brought back by the faintest smell or sound 💕
I have just finished a week in one of my most favourite cities in the world. I don’t know what draws me so much to Chicago. The people, the sights, the culture. The whole thing I think. It’s my kind of city. Until next time Chicago... thanks for having me.
And this was my first time ever ice skating. What a blast!
